Guidelines for creating quality prediction markets

Market Clarity

Markets must have clear, unambiguous resolution criteria. Questions should be specific about what outcome determines the result and when resolution will occur.

Verifiable Outcomes

Market outcomes must be objectively verifiable through reliable public sources. Avoid subjective questions that cannot be definitively resolved.

Appropriate Timeframes

Set reasonable resolution dates. Markets should resolve within a timeframe that maintains community interest and allows for proper verification.

Fair Categories

Use appropriate categories and tags. Accurate categorization helps users discover relevant markets and improves the overall platform experience.

Prohibited Content

Content that is not allowed on our platform

Harm-Related Markets

Markets predicting violence, self-harm, death of specific individuals, or any outcome that could incentivize harmful behavior.

Illegal Activity

Markets involving or promoting illegal activities, including but not limited to drug trafficking, fraud, or other criminal enterprises.

Hate Speech & Discrimination

Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.

Personal Information

Markets that expose private personal information (doxxing) or encourage harassment of specific individuals.

Manipulation & Fraud

Markets designed to manipulate outcomes, insider trading, or any form of fraudulent activity that undermines market integrity.

Sexually explicit content, pornography, or markets involving minors in any inappropriate context.
